On April 29th, a crowd estimated to be over 10,000 people will converge on Wall Street to let the bankers and politicians know that the time has come to invest in our people and our communities, not throw more money away on banks that think they are too big to fail. New Yorkers have been caught in the crosshairs of the collapse of our economy. Our state is facing a $9 billion deficit that they propose to close by cutting aid to schools, to health care, to public employees, to state parks, to housing–to almost everything that our state needs to thrive.
