The City of Syracuse received $31 Million from HUD to fix up the vacant and deteriorated buildings in low-income neighborhoods throughout the city. Look around, do you see any of it?
SUN leaders will be asking the city auditor Minch Lewis what happened to this money. Residents from the south and near-west sides will have the chance to find out why they can’t get help to fix up their house, why vacant houses aren’t repaired and why the city can’t get its housing act together.
Thursday July 31st at 7 P.M. Most Holy Rosary Parish Center at Bellevue Ave. near Roberts St., just 2 blocks east of S. Geddes St. Need a ride to the meeting? Call SUN at 476-7475.
